Terms of service
Welcome to Pokaya. These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you visit our online store or buy from us. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy, which are part of these Terms.
Who we are
Pokaya is an online shop run by SARI MURAT, an individual seller based in Japan. You can reach us at pokaya.shop@gmail.com. Our store runs on Shopify, and our products are made and shipped by our production partner, Printful.
Orders
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to place an order.
- Payment is taken when you place your order, and you'll receive an order confirmation email.
- We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable, if there is an obvious mistake in a price or product description, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you've already paid for, we'll refund you in full.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown on each product page. Shipping costs, if any, are shown at checkout before you pay. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers; we never see or store your full card details. For orders shipped across borders, any import duties or taxes charged by the destination country are paid by the recipient.
Made to order
Every item is embroidered after you order. Colors can look slightly different on different screens, and small variations in stitching, size and placement are a normal part of embroidery, not defects. Please check the size guide on each product page before ordering. If your item arrives damaged, defective or wrong, our Refund Policy explains how we'll make it right.
Shipping
Production and delivery times are estimates from our production partner and carriers, not guarantees. You'll find the details in our Shipping Policy.
Our designs
All designs, illustrations, photos and text on this website, and the Pokaya name and logo, belong to Pokaya. Please don't copy, reproduce or sell them without our written permission. Buying a product gives you the product itself, not the rights to its design.
Using our website
Please use our website fairly. Don't try to break into it, interfere with how it works, copy it with automated tools, or use it for anything unlawful. If you send us a review, photo or message, you confirm that you have the right to share it, and you allow us to show it on our store and social media. We will never change a review in a way that changes its meaning.
Our responsibility to you
We work hard to make sure our products and website are as described. If you suffer a loss because of our ordinary (slight) negligence, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order concerned. This limit does not apply to losses caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or to death or personal injury. Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version shown on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court will be the court of first instance for any dispute, unless consumer protection laws give you the right to bring a claim in the courts where you live.
